We're a sensory theatre company — bringing genuine theatrical craft, puppetry, movement, and story to babies, toddlers, and young children across London. Founded by Rebecca Merry, who trained in Drama and Movement Therapy and theatre, every experience we create is rooted in child development, emotional connection, and the belief that stories should be lived.

Through our parent and baby groups, preschool sessions, educational programmes, and creative events, we create inclusive experiences that invite children — and their grown‑ups — to explore, play, and connect.

What is Little Boo Stories?
Little Boo Stories is a London-based children’s sensory theatre and creative experiences company founded by Rebecca Merry, who trained in theatre and drama and movement therapy. We offer baby and toddler classes, birthday parties, sensory theatre events, school workshops, and nursery programmes.

How is Little Boo Stories different from other children’s activity providers?
We’re not a franchise or a standard baby class. Every session is led by trained drama and movement specialists and grounded in child development and dramatherapy principles. We bring genuine theatrical craft — storytelling, puppetry, movement, and sensory design — to every experience. That’s what “stories felt as much as told” means in practice..
​​​What is sensory theatre?
Sensory theatre is an immersive, age-appropriate performance experience designed for babies and young children. Rather than sitting and watching, children are active participants — surrounded by puppets, music, movement, textures, and bubbles. Every element is carefully chosen to support sensory development, emotional connection, and early communication. At Little Boo Stories, sensory theatre is the foundation of everything we do.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — places in our regular classes are limited to keep sessions intimate and nurturing. We recommend booking ahead via Happity. For parties and events, we suggest enquiring at least 4–6 weeks in advance.​
Where do your classes and events take place?
We run regular classes across North and East London, including Crouch End, Highgate, Highbury, Walthamstow, Leyton, and East Village. We also travel to homes, venues, nurseries, and schools across London for parties, events, and workshops.

Who are your sessions for?
Our classes welcome babies from birth and children up to 4 years, with specific sessions tailored by age. Birthday parties and events can be adapted for children aged 6 months to 6 years. School and nursery workshops are designed for early years settings.
